Karch looks tired/angry/sad. I don't know if he can handle 2 more years of this.

Well, on the plus side, we'll be putting an entirely new team on the floor tomorrow. So there's that.

USA wins 3-1 despite a slow start against Mexico, and in the process revealed a lot of flaws and kinks we've seen before that have yet to be worked out. I do like the new FIVB site redesign. Stats from the game. italy2014.fivb.org/en/schedule/5599-United%20States-Mexico/postAckkk, Nicole Davis being interviewed, time to close the browser window lmao

Fawcett 9 of 26 and Robinson 9 of 24 against Mexico...that's not good
Dixon 11 of 16, Hill 13 of 27, and Adams 7 of 13.

I think the girls obviously deserve to celebrate this victory, but I hope they realize that they were supposed to beat Mexico 3-0... It seems like a fun group and a lot of these girls talk about this new quad as having the most chemistry or it's "family," but bottom line is they need to get things done.
Based on the WGP results, the friendly against Croatia and today against Mexico, I'm starting to believe that they don't really see that they're struggling... The best thing to do to improve is to realize that there's an issue in the first place.

Its a shame that our two best players, Tom & Hooker are not on this roster. I cannot wait for Hodge to come back. We need more firepower and the other outsides besides Larson aren't passing amazingly well to warrant keeping them on the floor over Hodge, when/if she comes back. I think Hodge will open up the offense, a lot!

I want to see Fawcett block and do nothing else during future matches Agreed. I was just looking at the stats. I think she had the lowest hitting percentage of all US attackers for the match. THIS is not what you want from your opposite.

Same thing applies if Destinee comes back.
