Amusing that USC dropped, but not quite below UCLA (who swept them on their own home court).

Amusing that USC dropped, but not quite below UCLA (who swept them on their own home court). USC's well below Kentucky (who they swept on their home court) UCLA still below Illinois (who they swept neutral) and USC A&M still below USC LMU still below UCLA (though both those two have bad losses) San Diego and Duke both ranked despite no wins over ranked teams and multiple losses to unranked teams. The poll is just weird. I think part of it is that results seem wonkier than usual, but who knows if that's just recency bias?

Amusing that USC dropped, but not quite below UCLA (who swept them on their own home court). I guess the three set loss to Arizona kept UCLA at #20 again this week... That might work as an answer -- if USC hadn't also lost to ASU. Especially since Zona beat ASU....

Amusing that USC dropped, but not quite below UCLA (who swept them on their own home court). Some voters fear the wrath of Southern Cal.

Who is this Damian Elder dude, apparently he does not care too much....he dropped Wis from 4 to 6 which makes sense but then he also dropped PSU from 2 to 3 and promoted Texas from 3 to 2. LOL
RR voted his team 4th replacing Wis.

Don't be ragging on Damian Elder! He's providing me some outstanding comedy:
USC #13 Arizona #16 ASU #19 UCLA #20

LOL RR voted his team 4th replacing Wis. A lot of people have texas ranked 2nd. Both won out. Psu SHOULD be 2 for sweeping wisconsin and beating Minnesota, but to each their own. Russ doesn't care much about the rankings probably.

FSU 13-0 moves to #5 ...Highest ranking in history of school...pretty sure posters will start bashing this move to #5 but each week will give opportunity for Seminoles to earn the respect of the VT posters.
GO NOLES !!

Actually, more people voted PSU 2nd this week than last as the point difference is 10 vs 43 last week.

All the ones I looked at (didn't look at all) had texas 2, so that's why I assumed. My apologies.

Psu sweeps through Nebraska this week and beats Iowa I expect them to make that 10 vote difference up. That would be three straight top 20 wins with two being top 10 wins

No love for Pacific.. They are 13-2. Their only losses coming to USC (2-3) and Oregon St (0-3). They have swept Cal & UCSB and beat LMU in five last week. Maybe not a top 20 team, but definitely a team that deserves more than 3 votes.
