Im not sure if we played very well or the Bulgarians were just really bad. There were a couple of missed defensive plays that I think other teams could've picked up.

I want to look like the Bulgarian coach when I'm older. Like now. i don't know ... can you pull off wearing those green pants? Pants? You're supposed to wear pants?

Murphy gets game ball for hitting and blocking. Hill was solid all around. Banwarth was good except for a short run in game 3.

The biggest difference I've seen btw the team here and the one at the WGP is the serving. We are making a lot less service errors. We're also picking up tips better. All good signs.

Foluke with yet another bad blocking day. What is up? She didn't provide must offense either.

qualified for the 3rd round, i believe Yup. Russia losing today set us up. There's only one set of outcomes that has Serbia/Russia both even with us on points, and we'd have the sets ratio tiebreaker over Russia. China also clinched today.

Too bad Sokolova didn't feel ready to play. She could've added so much in service reception, which might be Russia's biggest flaw. Also, Gamova really hasn't been having a good tournament, being taken out today against Turkey with only about 7 points over 2+ sets.

Congrats to Robo on getting top player award in this match. Anyone know why Jordan didn't suit up?
