Sorry about the screwed up quote. not sure how it happened and I can't fix it. Yes you can. Not knowing how isn't the same as not being able to do it. You just deleted the "]" from one of the quote tags.

Back to Maples to start working on the stop Karsta Lowe defense. Is there one? Maybe they need the "hit .400 so Karsta can't outscore us" offense... they've beaten some mighty potent offensive weapons that way over the years. A few years ago, UCLA had two 20-kill performances from their outside hitters at Maples but still lost because our offense was even better still. Those of you who follow the English Premier League may remember last year's Liverpool squad, which was unstoppable on offense but reeked on defense... they finished in second place. No one shut then down, but Manchester City (who won) was at least able to score in comparable fashion.

I have tried not to comment too much this season on Madi's setting, because the truth is that I'm thrilled at her growth this year. She is setting so much better. Of course, there is always room for improvement, even when you are one of the elite setters.
I agree with some of the other comments made. Madi goes through phases where she forgets Inky exists. And then she sets Inky low, or trapped on a slide. However, this has not happened in a fifth set, or in a fourth set when trailing. Overall, Madi is doing so many things better this year, that I can handle these lapses with Inky.
