Well, I don't know much about Nana but she ended up at Duke to start. Was she highly recruited out of high school? There are other middles in the Pac-12 I would want on UCLA's team over UCLA's current middles. All of UCLA's middles were Top 50 Aces coming out of HS. The only one I'm a fan of is Felix. This is the story about Meriwether's recruiting. She wanted to come to UCLA but her Dad wanted her to go to Duke. Furthermore, UCLA did not have a scholarship for her as she was not ranked in the first senior aces class. Bananchowski chose to offer Johnson (#8) Lyman (#19) Carter(#23) and Green (#32). Even when Meriwether decided to transfer in 2004, UCLA may still not have a scholarship for her as they wanted Jessica Gysin. They missed out on Gysin and eventually Nicole Britenriker and a scholie was available for Meriwether. YOu can say UCLA lucked out on Meriwether and I think the same can be said about LOwe So, she wasn't a top senior ace? I guess that's my point. UCLA's middles were all top senior aces and I've seen so many middles on other teams throughout the country I would want over them.

I hated that no-call on Lutz set. At least Sealy knows that going forward, Moenoa is the answer. That double should have been called for sure considering the doubles called on UCLA.

Was R1 a Stanford alum or what? Oh get the hell over it and move on. There wasn't even that noticeable of a double contact.

at least UCLA put up a very respectable showing at Stanford. Hope this is the end of Consani's setting Sunderland got the scoop on Consani saying she only came to UCLA to play sand and the indoor's a bonus afterthought so even worse Sealy's kept her in when there were no promises made for her transfer in the first place.

Hawaii must be doing really poorly if their fans begin trolling UCLA threads.

How many aces did UCLA have? 9? I was surprised Stanford got aced so many times 10, but Stanford was mostly in system and able to run their middles when they weren't getting aced.

Hawaii must be doing really poorly if their fans begin trolling UCLA threads. NO ONE IS TROLLING. we would be CHEERING for ucla for rpi purposes. But we're honest, unlike you, who would argue that plum is the second coming of Jesus

Hawaii must be doing really poorly if their fans begin trolling UCLA threads. Who's trolling? Your the one who is getting all "overly-sensitive". I personally was rooting for the Bruins.

Yeah, but she has helped UCLA to start the season. Moenoa was out with her injury so Consani filled in nicely. I don't think she's that bad but Moenoa is just the better option. I didn't know she came to UCLA for the sand team. Now I feel better about Moenoa hopefully taking over for good. At least we'll see Consani on the sand team.

Stanford looked very average, both OHs and Boukather didnt played well. Lutz and Ajanaku saved the team. If Stanford wants to continue being the number 1 team in the nation, those pin hitters need to act right away. And Gilbert just sucked this match too. Sorry but Stanford is a very inconsistent team right now. Washington will kill them in Seattle.

How many aces did UCLA have? 9? I was surprised Stanford got aced so many times 10 aces. I'm not super surprised though. Stanford's serve receive can be suspect at times. Tonight was certainly one of those times.
