I find it hilarious how women get destroyed on this thread when it comes to jobs, but when a man does something horrible or looses a job for reason like ... Umm.. Hmm.. acts unbecoming of a coach because they are thinking with the wrong head it never makes it on here. How does your quoted segment show Sindee getting "destroyed"? Furthermore... male coaches regularly get far worse treatment than this I find that this group provides equal opportunity bashing to all coaches...

It's worse in the offseason when a lot of posters have more time and less distractions...

what are the possible jobs that may open in the ACC or SEC? Looks like some teams have struggled. Any possible coaching changes?

Likely no one. Fresno filled the position as an emergency hire this summer so it is required that the job be opened to the public later.

I found it silly to start a new thread/topic for this question. But what are some general characteristics, traits, skills, that assistant coaches need to have in order to be successful/beneficial to a staff?

But what are some general characteristics, traits, skills, that assistant coaches need to have in order to be successful/beneficial to a staff? Loyalty, ability to handle sleep deprivation, love of travel, a "big" arm, loyalty, connections in recruiting, ethics, sense of humor, good shoes and loyalty.

The biggest trait an assistant can have is to know someone to get them a job. It is not what you know but who you know more than anything. And a lot of luck in being at the right place at the right time. So if you are trying to become a pan assistant be social, get to know people, work as many summer camps as you can with coaches who can help you.

Be really good at Data Volley!! I assume all of the Power 5 conference schools use Data Volley. But what percentage of the other D1 programs use Data Volley and what makes someone good at Data Volley? Is it the analysis and breakdown of the stats?

I don't know the %, but all decent programs do. If you are good at data volley you can code matches on the fly with few mistakes. It's all about the keystrokes, so if you can type without looking at your fingers, you have a shot.
