I don't see psu losing again. Nebraska at rec hall seems only challenge and I don't see psu letting that happen in last conference match Not that I disagree, but aren't you PSU fans at your 3rd or 4th "we're not losing again" for the season?

Don't lump us all together. Plus, I doubt any other than a handful of wildly optimistic Penn State fans believed the Nittany Lions would go undefeated this season , and they've only lost three matches, so after the loss to Stanford, there really have only been two (at most) "we're not losing again this season" moments -- and again, most Penn State fans wouldn't have said that after the Stanford match. After the Nebraska match, the team looked to be in such a funk, that many Penn State fans weren't saying it was the last loss, but certainly some were. So that's one time. And after Illinois, the same. So that might be two times (and, by the way, the statement was "in the Big Ten" -- not an assumption that Penn State would repeat as NCAA Champions). And so far, saying it after the Illinois match doesn't seem so far-fetched. So the mistake (if you want to call it that) was after the loss to Nebraska.

Haha. I think I only said it once after the Illinois match. I'm sure someone bookmarked it and will call me out if I'm wrong On another note, boy were those Freshmen spectacular today. Wow.

So I have question. It's apparent that big will get a lot of teams in tourney but if conference turns out co-champion who gets automatic bid ?

This match: Ouch.
Your question: I don't remember. It's happened before.

Ohio State women's volleyball is irrelevant and has been for a long time. If you are from Ohio and can play quality volleyball you go to Penn State. If not you go to Ohio State.

Courtney does not get the sets she once did. I wonder if there is some turmoil between her and Hancock. Too good of a player not utilize. Strange.

Impressed I personally didn't see this coming. I thought OSU would take at least a set this week. Penn State seems to be gelling. I am going to say thought Courtney hitting negative is not going to get it done against good teams.

Sometimes teams stop one player at great expense elsewhere. Any chance this was the case in this match?

OK last match Megan hit .250 but in this match she just was needed, utilize and I would argue she just wasn't able to be set. PSU went on long runs with her in the back row and the biggest thing is just the flat out limited opportunities. OSU has 23 hitting errors AGAIN, 7 RE and 7 service errors. PSU had 23 total kills. This match was over fast. My point is only once in a while will we see high numbers for her and that is ok. She is essential for their success.

Anybody who watches PSU regularly knows what Courtney brings. She and Hancock are almost like coaches out there. They make everybody else so much better. Courtney hit -.400 and only had 5 attempts? Just seems odd. She's so talented.

I am not an Ohio State fan. I am, however, a RampageRipster fan.
I try to avoid creating game threads for OSU because I much prefer the works of volleytalk art that are the rampageripster game threads.

As my grandfather once said: "If you're not having fun, you're not doing it right." Not sure what the "it" he was talking about was, but I try to live by that.
