A win is a win is a win. Try to address the issues, but you are not always going to be at your best, and you just have to grind it out on those nights. Oh, I'll take it. A win is a win. A sweep is a sweep.

He called a time out at one point after they had scored a point. Not happy. Carlini's setting was a little off, sonetimes due to passing. Haleigh may have hurt herself on that one dig. Nice to see Blake get a point.
Oh, and Bloomington drivers need their licenses revoked. 3 times today a driver cut in front of me from an inside lane to make a left turn.
Cool place to get up close action.

So it sounds like it was a sloppy win. A bit predictable with this team. That's why I don't buy Priddy's hype. We may win the B1G but if we go into the NCAAs thinking we don't have to perform against an unfancied team, we will get upset. No holds barred in the NCAA's.
How we go from hitting over .350 against Purdue to .233 against Indiana, and allow 8 blocks tonight compared to 1 on Weds is a mystery. Has to be down to mentality. That said, we did outhit Indiana by 0.233.

Earlier in the day the Badgers tweeted a picture of the Indiana as the team was practicing. It complained about the low ceiling. The picture and tweet disappeared later. Made me wonder, was there a problem with sightlines in this venue?

The ceiling is low. Taylor Lebo's toss just about hits the rafters. It is a basketball gym.
It is tiny in there, like high school tiny and that probably disrupts things. And get rid of the darn chairs! They are not needed and make the court play very small. Morey had her butt in someone's face for her serve. That would help the sitelines.
Apparently there is a new facility in the works.

Just looking at the replay. Pretty clear they keyed on Dom on the slide. We were slow to recognize. Indiana just hit too many errors and into too many blocks to capitalize. At least that's what it looks like so far.
Workman doing great on service again, though, and I noticed Chappy hit over .400 again.

Yeah..Sheffield not apparently happy with Dom after that tool into the antenna in the first set. Strange. She's not playing to the game plan...or adjustments thereto?
Carlini finishes with a nice series of serves and a pushed kill.

2nd set. These folding seats are a pain in the neck. A real constraint on serves and defense.
Also, BTN announcers keep talking about the "tall" UW block, as if we didn't have two 5'11" players in the front line. I guess that's a good sign.

Ok after feeding the outsides, now it seems they stopped keying on Dom and Haleigh on the slide. Except for a few errors, doing well in first half of set 2.

OK...got both Blake and Michaelsen on in the last set. There was a series of service errors midset, and we hit into blocks a couple of times. But that last set was mostly very much under control.
Some things good to come out of this match...Workman is actually a real weapon on serve. Also, Chappy still efficient but error free. They were clearly keying on Thompson on the slide, and it was a set to the outside to Chappy that killed the match off. Good trip for her. May it continue. Carlini is getting ridiculously good on recognition for those kills.
We showed some scrappy play, but defense was not really up to par. Even with 12 blocks, I still caught the block going up late several times. We just seemed sluggish overall, but had plenty to push through this match.

No surer sign of how really good a team is than how its fans bemoan how "badly' the team played after easily sweeping its opponent.
