I'm a bit worried about 2020 recruiting. Currently we only have: 2020: Madison Endsley OH 6'3" With 4 seniors leaving Cook needs to get with it. Does anybody know of any other potentials? Three are on scholarship. At least two scholies are being held for 2021. The big class will be 2022, with Hoffman, Crenshaw, Grote, and Powell graduated.

I think we could see a 2022 scholarship passed on to 2023. There is some good talent up and down the west coast for that class and there is probably only an immediate need for a middle and an OH (cross fingers for Middleton)

OH: Hoffman (Jr), Crenshaw (Jr), Endsley (Fr), Bogomolova (Sr), Drechsel (Sr) OPP: Cole (Jr) MB: Grote (Jr), Summers (So) , Sanders (Sr) S: Powell (Jr), Mikkelsen (So) L: Houghton (So), Calle (Sr) I see 13 on scholee assuming Houghton transfers over. In 2018 they had 15 on roster and I assume all were on scholee. I believe 1 more would be a good thing. I think Robinson is the missing piece here. Impossible to have 13 on scholarship. Based on what I suspect + have heard, I think it's 11, which would leave one open still. Or maybe even 10. Yeah I’m almost positive there is another scholarship open for 2019/2020.

Yeah I’m almost positive there is another scholarship open for 2019/2020. 2019-20 scholarships: OH: Bajema, Bogomolova, Crenshaw, Drechsel, Hoffman OPP: Cole MB: Grote, Niece, Sanders, Summers L: McPherson S: Powell I saw an article saying that Mikkelsen "accepted a scholarship to play for the Washington Huskies" for 2019-20. That could only be true if Bogomolova doesn't return or won't be on scholarship. Another possibility is that she greyshirts, with her scholarship counting against 2020-21. Now, if Bogomolova and Mikkelsen are both not on scholarship for 2019-20, that would leave one available.

I think a priority for this husky team in the 2022 recruiting cycle is to pick up an elite d1 caliber setter, MB, and opposite.

Questions for me going into season:
1) Which MB redshirts, ie, does Summers beat out Grote? 2) What defense specialist rotates in, ie, does Houghton or even Mikkelson supplant Onosko and Calle as a first option?

Wish you guys could’ve secured Lauren Barnes. IMO, she would’ve shined since MN and UW both heavy influence with GMS.

Cole is the only OPP listed, while there are traffic jams at MB and OH. Somebody is going to move: Drechsel, Summer, Grote? Houghton is at least a pure DS. Calle is a converted OH who is better suited as a SS. Mikkelson is a setter and will be backing up Powell, with Robinson gone. Onosko has underperformed.

Samedy is playing frontrow only. Bajema is playing six rotations. Why do you tell lies so freely? They're playing with international subs, so she's playing 6 rotations. Where do you think her serving stats are coming from? FWIW, the team got swept by Japan today and didn't break pool, so not much to write home about from this tourney.

Samedy is playing frontrow only. Bajema is playing six rotations. And that’s totally fair. Back row defense is definitely not her strong suit. IJS

Don't you have a duck thread to go spew your vitriol out on? This is a dawg thread if you haven't noticed so, beside the tourney, there is stuff to write home about. Just thought I would point out the obvious.
