Modesto is a long way from the Bay Area... Thinking about it, I'm not too surprised. It seemed like Crittendon was in-and-out of the lineup several times, but could never lock down the starting right side position. With Agost coming on strong at the end of the season (C4ndlelight would know better than me, but I don't recall Crittendon getting on the court much during the NCAA's), perhaps Crittendon figured that the handwriting was on the wall and decided to move on. And no Oregon season is truly complete without a couple of transfers out of the program. That definitely seemed to be the case. Add note here on Agost. She was injured early in the year, ankle issues if not mistaken. When she got healthy she pretty much took over the spot. Agost was easily the better blocker. Crittendon's only real advantage was a harder swing and being a lefty. I agree, the writing was pretty much on the wall for Crittendon to leave, esp if Oregon goes to a 5-1 with Scott setting all the way around.

Does anyone know about how Naya plays? Looked at her stats, and she does not seem that impressive. my take on her. A lefty opposite with potential. She was always subbed out in the back row. Granted, Oregon ran a 6-2 last year, but the year before was mostly 5-1 with plum. Crittendon was still subbed out of the back row a lot. She never really seemed to fit in, but you could tell she was a raw.

Pilar Victoria - Texas to Arkansas Not too surprising IMO. Pilar wasn't going to get much playing time at Texas and Arkansas has a Puerto-Rican connection if I'm not mistaken. Great get for the Razorbacks.

The school is Golden West, not Goldenwest. I went there for two years out of HS before transferring to Long Beach State. They have always had a strong volleyball program.

I see Reni Meyer-Whalley on page 1 of this thread is listed as no longer on the Washington roster. She was a dynamic, though small, setter, recruited as a libero, with a wicked topspin serve. I hope she is transferring and not leaving volleyball altogether.

I hope she is transferring and not leaving volleyball altogether. She has decided to give up playing and become a regular student. Transferring closer to home to be near family.
