Southern Cal hanging tough at #25. Amazing. 14-12!

Washington doesn't fall as far was Florida State despite losing two matches to teams out of the top 15 and FSU losing to a top 10 team.

Southern Cal hanging tough at #25. Amazing. 14-12! I was wondering, has there ever been a sub-500 team ranked top 25 at this point of the season?

It's about time Florida State moved down.

Not that polls mean much, but the Pac-12 sets ties the AVCA record with 9 teams from one conference ranked.

Washington doesn't fall as far was Florida State despite losing two matches to teams out of the top 15 and FSU losing to a top 10 team. Not surprised. UW lost in 5 to both teams, and have no other losses in a conference that has 9 total ranked teams. FSU's last win against a ranked team came over a month ago, to the same team it just lost to. Also, the bump for the winners favor the ACC with Duke getting a larger bump to 21 for beating #3 FSU rather than Utah going to 23 for beating #2 Washington. This, IMO is a little off especially if you consider that just last wee that Utah swept UCLA and USC.

Texas is the only Big 12 team in the Top 25.
Consider that for what it is worth.

Consider that for what it is worth. And yet, with 5 teams in the top 25 of RPI, Ugh....

Texas is the only Big 12 team in the Top 25.
Consider that for what it is worth. Technically, you're right. But since Texas did play Nebraska earlier, might as well include Nebraska for old time sakes.

Why is BYU ranked #12? I see ZERO wins against top 25 teams on their resume, and losses to unranked San Diego, Santa Clara
Why is Purdue ranked #16. I see 1 top 25 win on their resume- a 5 set home win over Ohio State, and losses to unranked Iowa, Saint Louis, and Western Kentucky.
Just goes to show you that where a team started out in the preseason poll is STILL a big factor in the current rankings, 3 months later.
