Kudos to Amanda Ault and Tim Horsmon, the A10 finals was fantastic. There was no quit in the GWU team. You can tell that Dayton was at least a little surprised by the rate at which the balls were coming up. I thought we were in for a five setter but the difference was that Dayton would get a couple of points before GWU would side out, Dayton was better at siding out. It was a real grind it out match. Alaina Turner Of Dayton was the tournament MVP. It's a shame that this ends GWU's season, they are a fun team to watch.

I thought the MEAC was represented very well from the championship game. Two good small mid major teams playing it out in a very tight 3 set match aired on ESPNU. I think it is worth noting Howard was 1-21 just two short seasons ago and this season they finished 20-11 as meac north division champs, meac tourney runner up. Beating the likes of FAU and Tulane. We will not be seeing the last of Howard volleyball.

No. 5 seed Northwestern State upset the No. 2 and No. 1 seeds back-to-back (swept Central Arkansas in the final) and goes to its first NCAA Tournament. That's going to be one happy team on Selection Sunday.
Gotta feel for Central Arkansas, they scheduled tough schools this season; Oregon, Ohio State, LSU, Florida State, and Oklahoma.

You can list Stanford as conference champions for PAC-12. At best Washington can only tie them.

OVC playoffs aired on ESPN3 - they should be ashamed of themselves. ZERO production value - no commercial breaks, no replays, one announcer (who was terrible). I had to turn the final off, I couldn't watch it because it was so bad despite the level of play being so good. UGH!!!!!! Yeah, it's almost like being at the match. No commercials, no replays, only the one PA announcer. Except you can't hit the mute button if you are there. How much did you have to pay for that ESPN3 broadcast? Like many, I really wish there were more commercials during sporting events and less action.

Good one I'm coming from a TV and commentator background so seeing a production like this makes me cringe. Put a couple of extra hundred bucks into the broadcast and make it a little better

Western Michigan completed a pretty remarkable run in the MAC tournament today, winning their 4th match in 4 days to earn the MAC automatic bid.
Samford also won their conference championship.

So the ACC, Big 10, and Pac 12 all come down to the Weekend. Both teams will get in for all 3 conferences but you always want the AQ.

I don't know the ACC tie-breaking procedures (because it never really matters who gets the AQ), so UNC may have already clinched, but I'm not sure so I left the standings up.
