Conference Finish
Stanford: locked into first place Washington: no worse than second place, very remote possibility of tie for first place Arizona and Oregon: two wins guarantees third place, but could finish anywhere from third to sixth Colorado and UCLA: also could finish anywhere from third to sixth, but need help to get to third ASU and OSU: could finish anywhere from fifth to tenth USC and Utah: will finish somewhere between seventh and tenth Cal and WSU: can finish no higher than eleventh, will play Wed to possibly decide head to head which team stays out of last place

Oregon has a tough match at Utah on a short turnaround, but would be a great win to get some great momentum going into the tourney.

I bet USC, with the 6th-highest RKPI in the conference and a 14-14 (.500) overall record, is looking for wins this week. Of course every team is looking for wins, but one or two losses (I can't remember whether .500 qualifies or not) would mean not qualifying for the tournament.
Except for Cal and WSU, all other teams have safely more wins than losses total. And except for Cal, WSU, and Utah (#45) all have an RKPI ranking of 40 or less, where the odds of getting an invitation are very good.

In they lose twice, they are out.

Feel the same way for Vansant. She averaged over 5 kills/set with over 0.400 kill % in their two victories against the Arizonas.

Arizona now in great shape to win third place. Annnnd no. Well, they still might end up in 3rd place, but likely not by themselves. Pablo upsets aplenty this week. 4/6 so far! Utah>Oregon ASU>UCLA USC>Arizona Cal>WSU

There's no way Oregon can do worse than where they were placed in the preseason poll (tied for 5h with Cal - eek), which marks the 10th time in 10 seasons under Moore that the Ducks have matched or outshot preseason expectations.
The Ducks also still have a great shot to get 3rd with a strong showing in Corvallis.
