Players who stood out to me this year that I seen in person.
Kyle Gilbert Morgan B. Stanford right side Burgess had moments of greatness
Snuka - Arizona setter. Outplayed madi bugg at maple
Ali frantti - one word - unreal Micah Hancock- one of the best setter this year
Kelli bate- probably one of my favorite freshmen this year. Courtney Thomas- def first teamer this season.
Khat bell- so physical at the net. Probably one of my favorite player to ever play at texas. Yes more than hooker.
paige tapp- so happy for her. Had a break out season even tho the setters were terrible. I see a bright future for and Hannah next year with a new setter coming in.
Savannah leaf- I remember her as a freshmen at San Jose state. Her stats are def all American number this year but Iono if her team will get far into the tourney. But at least a third team

Taylor Morey (should end up as an all-american Courtney Thomas' improvement as a hitter was awe inspiring (she is a definite All-american) Kelli Bates improvement was impressive, she will be a definite starter for the Badgers next year. I never expected her to be a major front row player for the Badgers, but she is going to be a six-rotation point scorer for Wisconsin the next 3 years

Amy Neal of Texas. She is is probably not one of UT's six or seven best players in terms of volleyball abilities, but she may well be their MVP. So reliable, especially in the back row.

I doubt anyone has a better stat line than these three (against comparable competition):
Krista Vansant: 1,111 attacks, 476 kills, 121 errors, .320, 0.26 aces, 2.51 digs, 0.71 blocks Karsta Lowe: 1,212 attacks, 590 kills, 210 errors, .314, 0.29 aces, 1.96 digs, 0.64 blocks Taylor Simpson: 1,224 attacks, 516 kills, 150 errors, .299, 0.18 aces, 2.68 digs, 0.59 blocks

Karsta Lowe.
After match point of the UCLA-Hawaii match, the camera showed the players shaking hands and then the UCLA players walking toward their bench (to dry up or something, I guess). I could see Karsta Lowe going "Whew!" with this huge smile on her face that was a cross between "We won!" and "Boy, was that killer or what?!" It was very memorable, more than the match itself.

Karsta Lowe - Just amazing offense. Kelsey Fien - has really made all the difference for Nebraska win matches by providing a lot of punch Alex Holston - Knew she was good, knew she'd be good, but she's ahead of schedule in my mind. Jackie Napper - really got in great shape for this season, and I think that hard work is paying off.

Merete Lutz. Could be wrong, but I don't think many people expected her to be so effective this season. She almost makes me forget about Carly Wopat. Almost.
