You guys are getting your panies in a bunch for no reason. If anything it looked like she was signaling to get the play started, not signaling for the subs. She played great, I don't know why people are saying she looked arrogant.

As a big USC hater, I really wish they lost in Tucson the other day. Ruddins is such a bust. Maybe USC recruited the wrong sister. Almost all her hits did get touched off the block, but I don't think she's a bust. USC this year in general hasn't been that great. I expect her and USC to come back WAY stronger next year.

So to the coach sits better for you ? Only for this particular coach, but others already mentioned the signal to hurry up wasn't directed at anyone in particular. If someone took offense then the ego problem is within not without. What has Carlini done to make you think she's arrogant? I only got to see her play once this year so far.

Wait, are people talking about the rolling hand signal? She's saying NEXT POINT. All the players on UCLA do it and it's been one of the team mantras on the floor as a reminder to play in the moment.

I feel really bad for Moenoa being jerked around so much, in favor of an inferior setter. I hope the coaching staff didn't blame her for the ASU loss. I was hoping to see her play on Senior night. Izzy Carmona is the most physically gifted player on the team and she also gets jerked around, being thrown in the game for 2-3 serves, or not playing at all, like tonight. These two deserve a lot better than they have had to endure this season.
Will Muno play indoor VB, or just sand/beach VB, which is her specialty? She could probably handle any position they would put her at.

Don't you know? It's ever so much more enjoyable for some people to take the most uncharitable interpretation of such things as possible.

I feel bad for Moenoa, but equally bad for Lowe because UCLA would've won more matches this year and made a deep run in the tournament. I'll be relieved once they both graduate, knowing my luck Karch will continue to start Murphy over Lowe, and Glass over Plum.

Plum over Glass huh? Lets just kidnap the little Japanese setter. We wouldn't win but our setter would be AMAZING!!! Oh wait, winning is more important.

Lowe was playing lights out last night and did her best to get the team a W, to say she is arrogant, was arrogant or any other form of arrogant is ridiculous!

As a big USC hater, I really wish they lost in Tucson the other day. Ruddins is such a bust. Maybe USC recruited the wrong sister. I think Ruddins' hitting is good and will get better. Her passing is the problem. She seems to have regressed in her passing skills from where she was as a club player. Against Stanford at times her passing/digging skills was a walking disaster. Ruddins' younger sister is a better passer but not as strong a hitter in my opinion. It seems Mick likes pin hitters with big arms and doesn't care so much about passing. Gillis is an example. Same thing for recruit Ford; big vertical and arm, average passer at best. I would put Lexi Sun in the same category although she has time to improve her passing. Abercrombie (OPP) never received serve in club and I doubt she will start at the college level. Without Bricio's unbelievable ability to terminate out of system sets, USC would not be in tournament this season. Who will be setting for USC next year? The Italian player is ok; USC needs someone quicker to counterbalance the uneven passing. I see no arrogance whatsoever in Lowe's attitude. I actually think her court demeaner while animated at times is humble for someone who is the superstar of UCLA's team. She is a joy to watch.

I think when a fan's team is on the losing side of a Lowe beat-down it might be easy to see her exuberance as arrogance. I just hope she's in touch with Amanda Gil and sees the wisdom of transferring to Washington.

Also, Gil's former team won the national championship after she transferred. They didn't miss her.

Beach is obviously where she excels but she will be able to contribute indoors as well.
