Anyone know if any of the three coming in next season can pass? Not at the level you need. And don't think they will get better at that skill under Elliot, case in point , Eckerman. Elliott just called. Wants to hire you.

I think what we've really been missing in the last couple of years is a physical and talented setter. Great season to the lady horns.

Lots to look forward to in 2015! Proud of this team. They made it to the Final Four which not too many other teams can say, lol. With all of the top recruits they get I'd sure hope they make it to the final four...

Texas no doubt will get top recruits who can bang the ball and jump out of the gym, but still no pure setter which is what we need to win another championship title.

Anyone know if any of the three coming in next season can pass? That's why I like the idea of Dalton in a passing rotation! Dalton regressed as the season went on - tonight once again she would not set the middle consistently when available. Collins came on strong this season and she knows how to set Chiaka. But her height is her height.

I'm not sure her hips allow her to finish her college career.

You may be correct because Elliott said not too long ago she could not go 6 rotations. But still that doesn't excuse her not going to the middle when the pass is on point.

But I think the pain hindered her a lot. The sets to the outsides were easy.

So what does next year look like for the horns? I think a healthy Baker will help passing as well as a (hopefully) more healthy Dalton. Hopefully one of the freshman will surprise as well!

I think Baker has been a wasted scholarship but that's just me.

I'm with elevation, not sure baker ever returns to her old healthy form. I also wouldn't be surprised if Hattis leaves to play bball the rest of her career.

I think Baker has been a wasted scholarship but that's just me.Hate to say it but I completely agree. She just never really looked like she was well this year. Pilar looked very very rough tonigjt, given she was thrown into a hostile situation. I think we are going to heavily rely on a couple of these freshman in 2015. I'd like to say I can't see us in a 6'2 next year, but we all know how much Jerritt loves running it and if Dalton can't go 6 rotations because of her injury then we don't really have another option. I'm wishing that Hattis progresses offensively this offseason, I really like her fire and she has a great block but she has never posed a hitting threat.
