Did you know her school team's adopted "motto" is "ohana" (for the "family" closeness)? Sounds silly to adopt a Hawaiian word when the simple English word "family" would do. Kids...

I don't get player of the year in prep volleyball. How do you pick one player out of thousands? Is the extra pressure that is being put on this young lady good? She is already going to NU, where the pressure will be intense. I just don't get how it is positive, either for her or the sport.
