Congratulations Micah. Well deserved honor! It was Hancock or Carlini. Hancock should have won it in '13 as well.

Congrats micha! Russ truly developed micha into an amazing player. Happy she won! She deserved the b1g POY, but hey, she probably happy with this award
Quick question, was micha even a setter in highschool, or was she a hitter. And what was her rank

And what was her rank prepvolleyball: #41 and described as a S/RS "with unmatched grit and tenacity and a flat out winner" My favorite player of all time, even when she is the opposition. Big 10 won't be the same without her.

Congrats...deserves it completely. A true competitor.
Will be odd not seeing her next year!

Not surprised. She has had a great college career at PSU.

Not saying Micah doesn't deserve it, so don't twist my words here. I am just curious how many National Player of the Year winners didn't even win their conference Player of the Year.

didn't realize until last night that she had verbal-ed to Tulsa and wasn't apparently a highly recruited setter. Now she's NPOY. Hard to believe she'd have had the same career playing for Tulsa. Well-deserved and going to miss watching her play next year! Hope to see that serve for the Olympic team someday!
