Of the 8 teams that comprised the 'Elite Eight' in the 2014 tournament, which 4 are most likely to be in the 2015 Final Four?
Will Nebraska get a FF home-court edge? Was BYU a 1-hit Wonder? Can Stanford or Texas get over the hump? And, of course, Carlini!
And most importantly, will Penn State repeat (does a Catholic bear **** in the woods near the Vatican)?
What other teams do you expect to contend?

Regionals are in Austin next season, but at this point have to see how the freshmen perform before being confident the team makes it to the regional.

So, to review, at the beginning of the season Wisconsin was the most likely to fail relative the prior year even though they lost only 1 player. Now, they lose six players and have a strong showing in the votes as being a probable final 4 team?
Other than PSU, it depends on the draw.

My gut says that another ACC team makes it into the semi's. Maybe FL St. again with stars aligned. *page break* There are quite a few "Ifs" here but there will be some 2nd round opponents who make it into the Elite 8 (staying somewhat on topic). With Tai Manu being Mormon missionary eligible, with another OH possible into the mix, with HI HS POY starting (as a passing FR) on one of the pins it could all happen. Higgins will be key for UH. For those WA fans they'll definitely rebound (the knee is healing fine), the buddy staying in what was once Alderwood Manor/Lynwood-Castlemont is counting on more life. The fresh virginal neighborhood is beautifully decorated and expectant of Christmas, yet.

How can this poll have any credibility without an option to vote for or even a mention of USC? ? LOL

They should be able to reload enough to get through first and second round to regionals. Then it depends on how the team has matured to that point for HCA to become a factor. Hopefully the team gets to that point.

I'm thinking Florida might be able to go that far or get further depending on the draw, don't lose any of the big guns, and players make the most improvement from freshman to sophmore year, and our freshman were pretty solid all ready this year. If Dagostino can get to where she can set Rhamat high enough we could def go deep in the tournament I think, and find an OH combo that can terminate a little better. That's provided the newer passing core does decently, I'm expecting Niki O Rouke to end up as starting libero and one of the other ds be the second of the primary passers. Hopefully Snider and Recek will be better at passing this year as well when we need to deploy 3 passers.
*I keep wondering if Dagostino has trouble seeing the middles well if she will switch to the taller Abbey Detering? Would have less blocking liability and another lefty setter out there who can turn and whack in transition more effectively, but Dagostino brings charisma and leadership, will have to see what happens.

I would love it if Wisconsin made it next year, but I think that would be a great year with how much turnover they will have. The program won't be going away, though. I am confident of that.
