My two cents:
Great hires that make sense: Leslie, as she has been there long enough to have earned the right to say "no". Tom Black: He would fit right in there with being GM2, and his personality. AND, he can still do the national team, it would just be in the summer time. That was the talk when other schools were talking with him. Keno: Good coach, familiar with the program, and would love to return to Seattle. No brainer. Karch: If UW asks Leslie, and she turns it down, I could see a scenario where they would have her just for the interim until Rio is over, and then have Karch move up there. The real question would be whether or not Karch and Jana would make the move from San Clemente to Seattle.
Other thoughts: Hilliard: Unless he is hell bent on taking over at USD when she is done, he would be a good choice. Fisher: He has bounced around more than anyone recently. Could see a scenario where he would make that his next move. Would that be HIS final spot, or would he bounce again? Rosen: Not sure why you would leave a B1G program, for a Pac12, but maybe for location more than anything? Watson: Good choice, but maybe hasn't won enough yet for them to pull the trigger, but you could do a lot worse.

I like Hilliard for a lot of jobs, but to go from WCC assistant to Pac 12/Top 10 Head Coach is an awfully big jump. Plus, and I could be wrong, but I've heard he's not leaving SoCal.
I don't know that generally there is a benefit for leaving a Big 10 school for a Pac 12 school, but Michigan for Washington? Michigan drew 1137 fans when Michigan State came, and they turn around and go to Michigan State and play before 6000 fans - the UM community doesn't care as much are your biggest rival? That's tough. Michigan's largest crowd was 1700 fans, UW averages around 3000. Washington HOSTS regionals and final fours, Michigan doesn't. Washington is one of the 10-11 programs that have won a national championship, Michigan is not.
Fisher - you mean Dan Fisher from Pitt? I think he's going to be really good but I think her probably needs another couple of years at Pitt to prove that he's up for a job like this.
At the end of the day, I think it comes down to Tui or Watson.

Gabriel should get first crack at this job. I have no idea if she wants all the extra responsibility and demands.
Keno was a very involved assistant for 8 years starting with the 05 championship season. He now has two years under his belt, two pretty successful years, at Miami. I'd give him an inside track.

Has it been mentioned that 4 players have recently been put on the transfers thread from Oklahoma? I'm not familiar with how coaching change processes work, but it seems like something could be going on with restrepo.

Troy Tanner? Don't see how that would be possible. Pretty sure that's a joke.

One thing to remember is Barbara Hedges was the AD who hired McLaughlin. She understood the importance of volleyball from her days at USC and knew Jim when he coached the Trojans.

But she is at USC now so how does that help us figure out what happens here?
Woodward came from LSU but he didn't work in Athletics until he got to Washington.

More likely PT-related.

They reached out to Karch who said no.

They reached out to Karch who said no. If that is true, and I have no reason to doubt the "tooth", UW is fishing with some big bait, so - like the ND job - not many are off menu.
