I'm hoping it's one of these coaches:
Leslie Keegan Tom Black Shawn Olmstead Kevin Hambley Chris McGowan John Speraw Jason Watson
I think all of these coaches could come in and keep UW a top 10 team and since they all use a version of GMS, the team would be able to rapidly adapt to their style/approach rather than having a big period of having to learn something entirely new.

I hadn't consider "cult" membership as a requirement for this position, but there maybe some merit to that concept....

Everyone who plays at UW has been taught a very specific playing style with very specific movement patterns that have been burned into their myelin with thousands of hours of repetition. A new coach who wanted to use different movement patterns would be quite a reset. It would not surprise me at all to see the teams ability to play at a top 10 level go down substantially, maybe even for a few years while players relearned those new patterns. This might be especially challenging for the T-Street players who were all doing GMS through their club playing time as well and thus probably have the most myelin built up.
And I am going to pass on taking the bait regarding GMS being a "Cult" ;-)

Will the Notre Dame administration be upset that JMac is proselytizing for another religion on campus?

So, if you hire Shawn Olmstead, are you also hiring the sister? If so, Leslie will be looking for another job.
I'm also wondering: If Catholics consider the Notre Dame to be their "dream" job, do Mormons consider the BYU job as their "dream" job? If so, wouldn't this make Olmstead a less likely candidate?
(Just throwing it out there.)

Would Lee Maes be interested in the position? He has a nice recruiting pipeline from Arizona and California.

Jerritt Elliott? UW should shoot for the best.

What is UW offering salary wise? Cars? Housing? Country Club memberships? Private schooling for the offspring?

I can't imagine why someone like Jerritt would leave a program where he's been as or more successful to one that was less successful and harder to recruit for. I love UW, but the recruiting base in Texas is far stronger and sports is a religion there compared to a passionate pass time here in Washington.

Who ever threw Lee Maes name out is an idiot. Whoever said that the UW players have had 1000's of hours of trying are even bigger idiots. It would take 6 years to get over 1000 hours of training. Lastly, Rob Browning would be a great candidate.

1000's might be an overstatement, but it's a LOT of hours; Let's just try and estimate for Bailey Tanner for instance. In HS at TStreet:
26 weeks * 3 practices a week * 2 hours a practice * 4 years = 624 hours
Then add in 2 college seasons:
[ 12 weeks (fall) + 4 weeks (spring) ] * 5 practices a week * 3 hour practice per day * 2 years = 480
So that's 1104 hours and I've left out any time actually playing in games, private lessons (which lots of club players take) or playing or practicing in High School.
<edit> And yes, Rob Browning would be another good candidate! <edit>
