Dave Shondell did a video that said (to paraphrase) 5-6 would be gaining added experience by playing on all-star teams this Summer. Ashley Evans is going to China May 13-25 Azariah Stahl and Amanda Neill are on the Collegiate National Team June 21-29 in New Orleans One person will be on the B1G: Slovenia, Croatia and Italy tour scheduled for June 13- June 25 So, I am wondering what 1-2 people made what other team(s)? Can't wait to find out! I think that I saw something on Drews' Twitter account about her playing on a team soon. Did you see it?

Yes. So happy for Annie Drews! She is going to have a busy Summer. She also got a Summer internship with the Purdue Athletics Department!

I hope so! We need someone to come in to challenge Epenesa/Stahl/Evans and she could be the answer. I read somewhere that the tear wasn't as bad as suspected but she does have some recovery to do. It will be interesting to see what happens - especially if they are going to consider using D. Cuttino on the outside.

No way that Cuttino moves to the outside which leaves Adelaja and Fisher at middle. Um, no.
Cuttino and Adelaja in the middle. Epenesa and Stahl/Evans/Smith on the left. Drews on the right. Evans/Dimke setting. Stahl and Workman in the back row.
Will be interesting to see what comes of the 2015 season.

To be honest, when I first read that I was a little surprised as well. However, they do have Blake Mohler (#17 prepvolleyball) coming in as a middle blocker to possibly compete immediately for playing time. Do you really think Stahl would get playing time in the backrow? There are plenty of DSs on the roster and coming in - I don't think she saw any playing time in the backrow last season?

Unfortunately, sometimes as a coach you take that long look down the bench and realize your best options are already on the floor.... Still will be cheering the Boilers this fall and hoping for a different outcome than 2014.

I think this team will be a stronger team than last year. Sounds like they're working hard in the gym and everyone is getting some valuable extra experience over the summer! Multiple positions have some strong players so competition for playing time will hopefully benefit the team as a whole!

I think Dimke will impress people this year. She learned a lot last year, and her game developed quite a bit I thought. I'm excited to see her continue to develop.

Hopeful that we do see an improved Dimke especially serving. 24 aces to 47 missed serves. When do we see a schedule?

The pre-B1G-season tournaments were tentatively announced a long time ago ( March 16th), on Twitter. (Aug. 28/29) Ohio U, Austin Peay, & VCU (at home - Mortar Board Tournament) (Sept. 18/19) Notre Dame, BSU, S. Dakota (at home - Active Ankle Invite) I'm guessing the tournaments at LSUĀ or Saint Louis must not be finalized; so, the Purdue schedule can't be officially announced, yet. Update: schedule will be announced on Monday! There is a very cool video by Dave from May 11th at: twitter.com/PurdueVB
