With clubs like Northern Lights, Minnesota Select, and M1, Minnesota is a hot bed for JO talent. What players are some of the best that are getting talked about?

Particularly the 16's age group. Both Lights and MN Select have talented 16-1 teams.

Definitely can't forget about those girls. Those two select teams are very impressive.

What about Christina Boe? I don't know her but just looked at her recruiting profile. Her block touch and approach seem solid for an L2 at the D1 level. Does she have strong passing skills? Does she have the opportunity to play OH in club?

I believe she played mostly middle in Omaha. They have good defensive outsides and a good libero, so I don't know if she's seeing a lot of backrow time.

Kate Berg and Tori Hanson are very solid back row outsides, and play for big Minnesota high schools in Wayzata and Delano. Their libero, Madelyn Duffy, had an outstanding game again northern lights, but goes to a no-name high school.

Could she be a d1 libero? Problem is Berg won't get time at libero in JOs with Duffy on the team.

How would you rank the lights teams? In order of best teams....Are the 18-1 the best lights team...or could the 17 or even 16 be better??
I know the 16's are relative to their class probably the best team....
But I'm curious if the 1 and 2 year age difference is a big jump.

They will play 17-1, 18-1, and 18-2 on Sunday. 16-1s are starting to hit their stride.
