My other thread mentioned Kodi as an interface for watching, but I don't know how (yet) to get it. Are there any other venues to see some of the matches in Rio this week?

I was hoping you'd spent the time figuring it all out and let us know! I skimmed over the site and true to form with Open Source stuff, there's not a clean explanation on how it all works.

Kodi is nothing more than a user interface. It's really complicated and I wish I could explain but I am not entirely sure how it works myself. You have to "connect" via web addresses to get the P2P viewing and wizards to install for the viewing. It's really a process.
Android users can go to googlestore and and it's preloaded, you may still need to find the right add-on with SportTV. I am not able to find it yet. It may be under Pheonix.
Youtube has Tutorial setups. Here's one.
XBMC is really cool. Get 1500 TV channels. Any movie you want to watch. Any sporting event thatt's streamed somewhere. Pretty crazy stuff.

Did you see if Sport TV was it's own add-on by chance or was it under another?

Logo in the back makes me think SporTV will have the matches! What a lousy way to find out how to watch an event...by checking PHOTOBOMBS! LOL Attachments:

Hey all, i am really interested to watch some of the games in Brazil. I downloaded the kodi program and i found sport tv under the Phoenix add-on inside the international channels of the "Crusador". I believe that sport tv 2 will stream the matches but unfortunately the channel doesn't seem to work. Any idea of another route?

Anyone have previous experience with sportLemon.tv? I hate these places that claim they need your credit card info to verify your location claiming that's needed because of restrictions on where content can be streamed . Anyone can figure that out using IP addresses. I'm just concerned that they start billing for something (even though they claim a free membership) and go through that hassle of cancelling. With that said, a lot of times the volleyball stuff can't be shown in US due to various restrictions (I recall that being the same with FIVB a lot of times).

It's possible to get on Kodi as well (I am currently watching in Sweden). You'll need to become a member on these boards updown.com.br/ (free for real, no credit card or stuff like that) to get a link to the channel list where SporTV2 (the channel broadcasting this event at the moment) is included. Once you have got the channel list installed in Kodi, look for channel no 170. The link provided by graham also works (once you get through the ads : ) although at least on my computer the picture is a bit stretched when watching on that site. (Not when watching through Kodi.) Best regards, - Jonas

How the f*** can you invest all the time and effort into this event and not make it available for fans in the U.S. to watch? US Volleyball should spend less time reposting instagram photos from the players and more time figuring out how to stream this for a U.S. audience. Ridiculous.
