When it comes to pre-season polls, many are interested, but mostly in the sense of rubbernecking drivers passing an accident on the other side of the turnpike. Here's one that almost everyone can dislike: ranking the teams by the number of pages in their "2015" threads. The main attraction is one can create this poll without knowing anything at all about the teams involved (well, I suppose that may not be all that different from the requirements for voting in some of the other polls). Here are the results as of 3/5/15 at 1:59 p.m.: 1. "Future for Stanford" -- 280 pages (admittedly, this isn't really fair, as the Stanford thread goes way, way back, not just 2015. But I'm hoping for seed money for a project I have in mind -- "Make nyline rich" -- so I don't want to offend any Cardinal alums). Stanford clearly will win it all in 2015. 2. "Nebraska 2015" -- 62 pages. I think many of those pages were devoted to how deep is the snow in Lincoln, so perhaps this one should be adjusted. Kidding. Put down the snow shovels. 3. "Wisconsin 2015" -- 42 pages. Anyone care to guess how many times "Carlini" is mentioned in that thread? How high can you count? . 4. "PSU 2015" -- 34 pages. Final Four, but not really close to the Finals. Then again, with boof, there's always a chance. 5. Hawaii -- 15 pages (originally overlooked -- unintentional oversight, Wahine fans -- please forgive!) 6. "Minnesota 2015" -- 14 pages. This one is a bit of a surprise (from a polling standpoint) -- but those Gopher fans are loyal and, apparently, chatty. 7. "Jim McLaughlin/Why did he bail?" -- 14 pages; "Washington 2015" -- 8 pages. OK, the Jim McLaughlin thread isn't specifically a "Washington 2015" thread, but an argument could be made that the two should be combined. So I've compromised -- putting them after Minnesota's 14 pages, but ahead of Texas. 8. "Texas 2015" -- 12 pages. Those Longhorns are surprisingly reticent. 9. "Illinois 2015" -- 10 pages. The Illini have a shot at moving into the top five, but Final Four looks like a stretch. 10. "UCI 2015" -- 3 pages. 10. "Florida State 2015" -- 3 pages. So that's the Top 10/11. Check it out at the end of the season for accuracy.

Based on your methodology for #6 JMAC, you need to include at #3 with 61 pages Where's Brianna Holman land which just was surpassed by Nebraska today. To be fair this could also be split between Nebraska and Penn State which would then Have Penn State jump Wisconsin.

I've added Hawaii -- which I accidentally omitted -- haste makes waste (and angry Wahine fans) . As to the "Where's Brianna Holman Gonna Land" thread, I considered that, but initially there were several contenders (including Washington), then it devolved to a considerable extent to a discussion of whether transfer waivers should, or should not, be granted. Plus, as I recall, there were at least 15 pages on how much snow does Lincoln get in an average May-June period. Kidding. Put down your shovels, Husker fans (but keep them handy ).

As a Florida State fan. I am glad to see that FSU took the #10 spot.. as I predict they will be ranked pre season 2015 coaches poll within the top 10-15 rank..
I believe they will have a solid season as Coach Poole has once again scheduled strong Pre-Conference (always good for the RPI.. given they must pull out strong wins)
Conference Play for 2015 will see FSU-UNC-Duke once again fighting it out at the top.

The Duke thread has 3 pages too, and actually more Posts than UCI. Even though I do not think either is a top 10 team the only reason I bring it up is because Duke would have a better chance of that miracle.

I think Stanford fans deserve credit for remaining focused for over four years. It is interesting that the thread's first post mentions the graduation of a class without an NCAA Championship. That trend has continued along with the thread.
Which will end first?

I will only include Duke in this poll if they add one (or both) of two cheers that simply beg to be made: "Duke Power!" and "Smoke 'em Duke"

I would add this to the Stanford thread. Baby's name - "2012" or just "12" if George Costanza hasn't claimed it.
