I hope Ze will rest Fe Garay as well. She looked tired at the World Championships. I agree that Fe has looked lethargic as of late, but I don't think she's locked in as a definite starter when Gabi, Natália, and Jaque have the capacity to successfully start as OHs. IMO Sheilla, Fabiana, Thaisa and Camila Brait are the only players whose starting positions and placement on the team have already been determined or are all but guaranteed. I agree with the four you name that have the starting position, even though I would like to see Fabi come back as the libero. I agree that Fe Garay looks lethargic, for lack of a better word, but maybe it's do to her team (ie. what her coaches want her to do, team, playing maybe a different style of ball.) I love to see Gabi develop as a player. She fun to watch. But she is also getting blocked a lot by the other Brazilian club teams. She does do well at passing. Who do you see as the setter?

Lins will definitely be the starting setter. After her spectacular performance in 2012, she has to screw up big time to not be considered the #1 setter.
I would add Jaque to the locks. Zé LOVES her and we do need her.
My starting lineup today would be Dani, Sheilla, Fabiana, Thaisa, Jaque, Tandara and Brait.

Not sure if she will be back in shape/volleyball form to compete in 2016 if she gives birth later this year.

Tandara is giving birth in september. I think she'll be fine.
About Gabi, I don't know, man. She would be there, sure, but I'd rather try someone with more power first. If it doesn't work, Gabi is next in line, for me.

Natalia MIGHT be able to replace her, but she's such a liability in the backrow that I wouldn't hold my breath. Completely disagree about Gabi. She was extremely over-hyped on this board. She's a nice player, but she's got a lot of growing to do before she can replace Fe Garay.

Tanda was still playing as of last week (in a limited capacity though), and I think she can be back for the WGP in 2016, don't you?

Gabi is undoubtedly Brazil's next star, and she'll likely provide steady passing and digging in the '16 Olympics like Paula provided in '08 and '12. Keep in mind that the team doesn't have Fabi to share backcourt responsibilities, so a player with Gabi's defensive skill set will be a huge asset for the Brazilians as they move forward with Brait.

I have to use a proxy server to watch live Brazilian matches if they're covered by a certain network, since it geo-blocks access for our region of the world. When I get home later I'll PM you the server I use for that network and the websites.

I posted two links on the first page, that I saw on another forum, but I'm not sure they work. Minas and Praia are actually playing tomorrow at 7pm, and not on saturday.
