Hi, does anyone know what the offense is called and where i could find info on rotations where there is only one middle hitter is used and when the setter is front row they set from the middle?

Did Russia ever run a one middle offense? I never saw it but I vaguely recall mention of it during the 96 Olympics. I could have misunderstood tho.

Peru ran the same system for years up to and through the 1988 Olympic Gold Medal match. Go onto YouTube and search for 1988 Womens Olympic volleyball final and you can watch the Peruvian team run the system. They were actually a very fun team to watch.

I was forced to run that kind of system years ago and wrote about it here. Worked out pretty well.
