I know people will disagree with me....but Sedore doing what he did was uncalled for. It just riled them up even more. His play should done the talking....no his gesture to the crowd! I remember when Holt from CSUN did that to the Hawaii crowd....and that too rubbed me the wrong way. Its not needed....the crowd is there to get rowdy and loud. Yea, you're really asking for it if you start rallying the crowd, but honestly he won me back after they lost and it showed him clapping to the crowd (humbly so). As if to acknowledge respect to the crowd that he just tried to rile up. So I thought that was cool. Although, what would've he done had Hawaii won? That would've been interesting. But speaking of despicable people... jk, but honestly, Wade just seemed off putting w/ his interviews. Just always looked pissed and short on all his answers. Every coach that I've seen get interviewed, handles it w/ grace. He's a first to really show poorly. Too bad... I was surprised....he doesn't act like that in interviews. Even in the pregame talk yesterday.....wade was quoted by the commentators by saying something to the effect of "were just gonna win." He usually elaborates in his interviews a bit. His answers seemed very smug.

The discussion of hawaii would have beaten BYU on neutral court is a bit lame. Same can be said for many games such as pepp vs hawaii. Pepperdine would have beaten hawaii twice if it were played at firestone looking at how close both matches played in Hawaii were. Hawaii would still have ended the season with 4 losses.

That is debateable. The way Hawaii played....anyone could have beaten them to be blunt. Siki didn't Hit over .200 in both matches this series. Most teams can beat Hawaii if UH does not get the offensive production from that position and Wade refuses to put Hartley in there to help spark a fuse.

Just read the article and it stated that Hartley had "arm discomfort"...which could be the reason for not letting him swing as much. I'd much rather have a healthy Hartley come tournament time, then have Siki struggle and have no one to back him up then.

I predict the top 6 is like this: Lewis UCI Pepperdine Loyola Byu Hawaii I have to think Byu gets a big leap for beating the then #1 team twice. Even if it was debatable whether they were legit #1 or not. This looks about right, although I think Hawaii will remain ahead of BYU. I'm a little surprised at the disgust of some of Hawaii's fans, as I thought they played a decent match last night vs BYU, who just played a bit better. They are a top team and I hope they represent the mpsf at the NCAAs as one of the mpsf teams. Maybe Loyola can get upset in the miva playoffs before the finals and drop another few slots to make sure the mpsf gets both at larges.

I wouldn't say disgust, as personally I am disappointed and frustrated. I, and I would say many other UH fans, know the level of play these guys can bring, and we just saw way too many errors and some sloppy plays. Not taking anything away from BYU. Sutton was impressive at setter, and Fuchs was just HAMMERING away. And I can see why that one BYU announcer kept calling Brendan "Taylor"; a lot like his big bro.

We are all painfully aware that the Warriors has struggled this weekend against BYU. I'm sure playing them at the end of the year at Provo, fatigue comes into play because of travel, time difference, whatever it may be, we probably expected more from Hawaii. Yes, my post & comments were reactionary and clearly some joking comments because I am a disgruntled Fan. But as others have noted, when a starter is struggling why not utilize the bench and see if they can contribute and spark the team. Siki is definitely one of our steadiest players, but he struggled both nights and didn't get yanked. Then we hear news that the players were not 100% healthy.

Even if it was debatable whether they were legit #1 or not. I don't think Pepp should be ranked ahead of Loyola after losing to SC this weekend. My prediction of the top 6 looks like this... 1) Lewis 2) UCI 3) Loyola 4) Pepp 5) Hawaii 6) BYU It looks like Pepp needs to win the MPSF tourney. Otherwise they will be watching the NCAAs from home again this year. Hawaii's back-to-back losses this weekend definitely shakes up seeding for the NCAAs as well. Right now I see the tournament seeding looking like... 1) Lewis 2) UCI 3) Loyola 4) Hawaii 5) Penn State 6) Erskine MPSF fans can be happy knowing that there would still be a possibility of an all MPSF national championship game and MIVA fans can get excited that there would be a very real chance of an all MIVA national championship.

Pepperdine actually lost to UC-Santa Barbara. I doubt Pepperdine will be ahead of Hawaii. They were 3rd last week and with the loss should land them at least at #5. Plus, Hawaii swept Pepperdine this year. Who knows, BYU might end up leapfrogging both Hawaii and Pepperdine, but it's unlikely. My prediction is below. 1. Lewis 2. UCI 3. Hawaii 4. Loyola 5. Pepperdine 6. BYU Both Hawaii and Loyola can either be 3 or 4, in my opinion.

My mistake about Pepp losing to Santa Barbara, not SC.
I think it'd be pretty tough to justify keeping Hawaii at 3 after losing 2 in a row to the #6 team that had just ended a 6 match losing streak the week before. But I agree, I don't see them being ranked behind Pepp. They shouldn't fall lower than 4.
