So this is a full on tournament now? I thought this used to be just a "by invitation" showcase type event.

Thus far TAV 18's are 3-0 and Tstreet 18's are 1-2. Legacy looks particularly strong, no opponent has cracked 20 against them yet.

Thanks for info VBpadre. I have my DVR set for a four hour block of recording.
The semifinal between TAV and TStreet 18s must have been interesting. On another message board there have been parents posting all season long this is possibly the most complete, dominating TAV 18s team ever. TStreet should be stronger if one of their OHs recovers from surgery before Nationals.

Might be a 'good' loss for TAV 18s if you root for them...might have really awakened the bear so to speak and they'll be tearing people's heads off at Nationals! I wish they were broadcasting the semi's, too...would like to see that TAV vs Tstreet match.

TAV 2013 has been the strongest TAV 18s team in the last decade to date IMO. They dominated and won Nationals and it was not close in the finals.

TAV 18s are dominant this year. We were surprised to see they lost a match, their first loss in over a year.

I think T-Street is the only team that can match TAV 18-1 physically. If they can serve tough enough TStreet can match up defensively because of there big block in the right side. One big advantage for TAV is there dynamic middles.

TAV 17s is struggling to pass effectively. When it is a good pass the setter does not set the middle enough.
