Great article. Thanks for posting. As for the now, he ends with:
“I have no idea. I didn’t pick the team the last two years to win the national championship, but we had a real intangible…,” he said as his voice trailed off, and understandably so. The aura surrounding his teams is indescribable.
“Micha was a game-changer type player, Dom was an incredible under-appreciated player outside of the program, Nia led the nation in hitting and did some great things, and Lacey was a kid from the minute she came in the gym until her last day with our program. Those four people had a pretty significant impact. We’ll see how we can compensate for their moving on in their lives, but the goal should be to be the best we can be anyways. I think that’s what life’s about.”

There is something about Rose that I like very much... I just don't like their fans, and I mean "Penn State" fans. I only dream that one day he would coach the Women's national team for one quad. I'm curious to see what he can do and how players would react. His philosophy and success is describable. He is certainly an American Hall of Fame-er..

You have be more specific, don't generalize.

My goodness. And by all means I never typed that my fans are better.. I know they're better... Ha ha just kidding.

If you are having the success that PSU is having, bandwagon fans are inevitable.

I confess to judging other programs and coaches with RR and it makes me look like an arrogant SOB. You can't help yourself when you are so fortunate have a coach and staff like PSU has. They seem to do the impossible on a regular basis. It spoils me rotten.

Whats ironic is that if you know Russ, you realize how understated he is, and how little attention he draws to himself or his program, yet their are some really obnoxious fans. As the big fella says about many PSU fans on vtalk "some people don't know how to be fans"

I wonder would be left here on VT if that is that is the criteria.

As the big fella says about many PSU fans on vtalk "some people don't know how to be fans" That's funny, did he really say that?

As the big fella says about many PSU fans on vtalk "some people don't know how to be fans" Well...fans are fans, especially with a winning program. Or would RR rather have fans from the Pac12 where there are almost no fans showing up at the matches?
