Leaside won in 2 straight very easily. Maciagowski was easily the star of the game, but Gorrell was a blocking machine and Alabastro was great on defense. Sarah dobinson (2016) on Pakmen will be great, super heavy arm and a pretty good passer

The only Defensa kids were Gorrell and Lagler-Clark, who was the third setter behind Miric and Regan Herrington. Most of those girls (Miric, Maciagowskii leading th pack) played for Leaside last year.

Julia Adler is also a Defensa alum Where was Lagler-Clark the 3rd setter, Planet Zeldon? You're right, she is. However out of the 13 person roster, 4 were from Defensa, 5 from Leaside, one from Halton hurricanes, one from Eclipse, and 2 from aurora storm. Miric played most of the tournament, she's started ever since she began playing with them (she played a lot of beach in the beginning and was a practice player.) regan Herrington was the go-to for the double sub. Perhaps Lagler-Clark wasn't having a great time connecting with her players or something. She wasn't hurt.

13 on the roster -> 6 D1 -> 4 Defensa all I am saying. Anyone can put an all-star team together, developing players and teams is a different matter.

I agree with you, Im just saying of the 4 Defensa players, only 2 started and only one (Gorrell) made a sizeable impact on the matches I watched. Defensa is an excellent club, and Kevin and Rob are great coaches who really did wonders for Tori, Sarah, Julia, and Kristina. I just think Leaside does deserve credit as well; there is a reason they have won 3 of the last 4 18U provincial championships.
