Courtney's journey is remarkable. One of the key take-aways from this article is the focus on your mental game. While more and more athletes in the pros are focusing on this, as a high school or college athletes, it can be a huge advantage in both playing, being recruited and succeeding at the next level. Here is a video series that Courtney did right after the world championships www.positiveperformancetraining.com/volleyball-olympian-courtney-thompson-mental-game-leadership/FYI: I work with Courtney at Positive Performance so I'm a little biased but I think the world of her.

We think the world of Court too! She has been an awesome inspiration and role model for my kids. Especially my son He was the first boy to show up at UW camp. The it girls in his 6 th grade class were also there and he was dying a thousand deaths. Thank goodness got put in her group. He loved it her and she still remains a great source of inspiration and support for him!
