The missing Rutgers date in their schedule will be Colgate, Albany, and Yale.

Thanks, Occam! I wish they'd hurry up and get their schedule posted.
Rutgers doesn't seem to take volleyball nearly as seriously as the rest of the conference. At least Maryland is making an effort.

It would help if they played in a better gym. State street gym has you 10-15' above the floor. It's like looking down at an exhibit at the zoo.

Not necessarily disagreeing, but are you saying this because of scheduling? Maryland's schedule does not look much different to me, although I like how their opposition gets progressively tougher. Also like that both Rutgers and Maryland have some easy matches in their pre-season, those will be most of their wins and it will help conference RPI (hurt less) that they have some wins when they play other B1G teams.

Badgerbreath is correct in that my primary frustration was how Rutgers isn't really hyping their fall season the way the others are. As for scheduling, Maryland does have a tougher schedule than Rutgers. Their least tournament has them facing Oklahoma, Washington, and Southern Cal. I'm doing a Pablo analysis of all of the pre-conference scheduled for every team. That will be able to tell us who is scheduling most aggressively overall, and who is scheduling aggressively or less aggressively compared to their level. A tool to determine who is tiptoeing through the tulips, and who is drinking from the firehose. So we'll know more when I'm done. Spoiler: it looks like right now the most aggressive scheduler is Iowa, especially when you compare the teams that they will be facing to Iowa's performance.

True that Maryland's schedule is slightly tougher. Rutgers does have LBSU and Illinois State in their 2nd or 3rd week, so I think that overall it is similar for RPI purposes. Especially since I think Washington is in for a down year.
