Wow Cal Poly was up in sets 2-0 and up 13-10 in the 5th set at one point. Cal Poly choked.
The implications are huge. With this loss Cal Poly may have just blown their chance at winning the Big West title over Hawaii and blown their chances of earning the automatic bid.

Great match,...congrads to LBSU for the comeback. Home court played big in the 5th set.
Sam has got CAL POLY playing some great volleyball. No longer is LBSU/UHawai'i the only studs on the block.
Don't know if winning out (incl. Hawai'i) will impress the committee,...hope so.
GoPOLY!!!

Nice win last nite by CAL POLY over crosstown rival UCSB.
Was a little dicey for a while,...worried the loss a week earlier was going to hurt moral. It didn't!

CAL POLY had a light week,...not playing a match on the weekend.
At home this Friday and Saturday to face UCI and UC Davis. Need to stay the course,...take one match at a time.
Anything can happen,...til the end of the season.
"Beware...the eyes of November,..."

Correct me if I am wrong...but, believe November is the early signing period.
CAL POLY should have at least three available scholies to give.
Attention toward...MB'ers.
GoPOLY!!!

GoPOLY!!!the two missing pieces for Poly next year are replacing Kessler as the libero & getting a dynamic athletic middle blocker cc..., you seem to have an uncanny knowledge for CAL POLY volleyball. And, I concur completely. Lynn Kessler has been one of those quiet unassuming steady players,...going to be hard to find another. GoPOLY!!!

CAL POLY will host the UCI anteaters on Friday at 7PM.
Coach Crosson expects UCI to come out with a new line-up.
How the Lady Stangs adjust to the anteaters' new line-up,...time will tell.
GoPOLY!!!

Maybe a change in the L2 spot, but I wouldn't expect anything beyond that.

Bubica and Latour both have been injured on and off this season. Both Bubica and Latour in addition to Frost all just played briefly during the 1st meeting between UCI and Cal Poly.
But this time around Bubica will play the entire match. Latour had her career high with 12 kills against Long Beach St. and Frost served a career high with 5 aces against CSUN.
So Bubica, Latour and Frost is the "new line-up" Jake is referring to.
I guess from Cal Poly's perspective it looks like a new line-up but from UCI's perspective it's the current line-up when UCI is playing at full strength.

UCI takes wins the first set over Cal Poly.
Van Winden hitting 0%. Ouch.
I wish Poly had audio so I could hear how loud the crowd is.
