Who will anchor the defense?
I'm sure coach Crosson will be looking to CAL POLY's leader in digs a season ago,...Nicole Kessler, senior, libero.
Nicole enters the 2015 season with 444 digs,...second in the Big West Conf. in '14.
GoPOLY!!!

Did not know that Tamas left (along with wife and kid) to go coach at Nebraska. Probably Cal-Poly's biggest loss going into this season. Tamas was the real talent on that coaching staff.

SLO faithful? The only one who fits that description here is jake. And I would like to give him props for being consistently a superfan of the Cal-Poly program.

I tend to agree that Tamas' departure is a blow to the program. why? it's not like Poly was tearing it up with the Tamas' on sidelines regardless, Crosson needs to show something in the development of the team this year - the program seems adrift right now

I'm a little familiar with Chris from his two stints in California schools and I believe that he is a very good coach and someone to watch carefully over the next few years. Further, Tamas helped bring some quality players to Cal Poly, so his recruiting abilities seem solid. His hire into the Nebraska program supports these notions, and after a couple of years in Lincoln, he should be a prime candidate for a good HC job at a solid program.
True enough that Cal Poly wasn't tearing it up the last couple of years, but I would be reluctant to point a finger at anyone in particular. Crosson certainly came in looking like he could do great things with the Poly program but it just hasn't materialized yet. Have they replaced Chris and Jen?
