Coach Sam Crosson will still be playing a young team at CAL POLY.
With 11 underclassmen, one junior and three seniors.
I am sure coach is hoping his six sophomores-to-be,...Nelson, Carroll, Petiprin, Roach, Greisen and Niemen (Mathiesen missing from the roster) received enough experience last year to make the difference in 2015.
GoPOLY!!!

Jake, Cal Poly SLO was 7th on the preseason poll. Who do you think CPSLO can beat besides Fullerton and Riverside both picked lower. What place do you predict CPSLO will finish?
Fullerton is picked at the bottom and I, being a Fullerton fan, think that is the place we will finish. However I hope for a much better finish. Maybe as high as 7th.

CAL POLY's final standing in conference;
1. LBSU 2. Hawai'i 3. UCSB 4. CAL POLY
Both Fullerton and UCI have new and young head coaches,...which will be a handicap.
Both UCD and CSUN are unknowns to me.
UCR,...well they are what they are.
GoPOLY!!!

really, two years ago, SB got a new coach - and proceeded to be co-champion last year Davis got a new coach - and had their best conference finish or do you mean are Full & UCI's new coaches are going to be more similar to Crosson than to the coaches at SB & Davis?

Everything is relative,...a coach's level of experience the hand he is dealt when he starts. Time will be the judge,...check back in three months. (Note: I gave your 49ers top billing,...don't disappoint.) GoPOLY!!!

It will be a very difficult task for LBSU to end the season in first place in the conference. For one reason or another, right now I only see two returning players making the starting rotation, Murray and Lawmaster. This team needs to start fast to make any noise in the polls but this team has too many new faces and youngsters for that to happen and Hawaii is too deep and experienced to lose the conference title.

GoPOLY!!!Croson came in with high expectations, but he really has under-performed as a head coach. Cal Poly is most likely the highest rated school academically in the Big West, but for some reason, he hasn't delivered in recruiting, team performance, systems or results. There's no good reason to believe that it's going to happen this year.
