Matt Ctvrlick the starting 6'4 setter for Balboa Bay 18s from Corona del Mar High School has committed to Harvard University. Interesting choice considering that he's a clear top 3 setter in the '16 class. In the end though, it's Harvard. Not too shabby! Source : middlehitter.com/Commitments/2016_College_Commitments.aspxOther news is that Spencer Smith, a 6'7 opposite from Indy Assault, has committed to Ball State. He's actually super solid. Jake Dixon from Pittsburgh has committed to Lewis. He's a 6'6 Outside Hitter who is also very underrated. www.hudl.com/athlete/5164467/highlights/256632388/v2Adam Lee a 6'2 Outside Hitter from Loyola High School and MB Surf 18s has committed to NYU. Any other news?

I've played against him, I'm 6'4" and he was only about an inch or so taller, not 6'8" Hello, Spencer Smith here. Just thought I'd clear a few things up. I will admit when I made the first video listing me at 6'8 it was a bit of an embellishment. The only reason I did it was because I thought I was going to continue to grow. However, I recently had a physical and measure 6'6 1/2 flat footed and 6'7 with my volleyball shoes on. On the video linked above I promptly listed myself at 6'7. I'm proud of my abilities and blessed to have received the opportunity to play college volleyball. But I won't stand false information floating around about me. I'd be happy to answer any questions. Thank you!

Does anyone know where George Huhmann is going? I heard he was looking at Princeton. Where else is he looking at?

Eric Beatty, former HBC and now 949 6'7 outside hitter, committed to Stanford. Paul Bischoff, 6'5" Sports Performace setter, has committed to Stanford. He's considered the best setter in 18s.

Thank you! He said he was 6'4 and that you were "an inch or so taller." That isn't false information floating around. You just kinda confirmed what he was saying by reaffirming that you are not an actual 6'8. Not trying to be a smart a** or anything. Best of luck in your college career! Much Aloha!
