Very Interesting the Ma'a is going to be full blown setting My best guess is that's what his position will be in the college game. He was a phenomenal setter through his 17s season.

They find out today I guess? Since there has been no release they either told them last night and didn't post anything or told them today. According to Reese's journal entry he said they were supposed to make the decision on the night of Aug 4. Not sure how you know Reese made it.

There was a picture posted by USAV HP Instagram saying they took part in their last intrasquad. I presume the decision has been made but not been released yet

John Kessel posted this online:
VCT is mostly filled with those volleyball leaders and teachers who are building our USA and other nation's, team pipeline for the future, even when your players do not make the next level, they are pushing those who do upward, for that we at USA Volleyball thank you. As boys is our far smaller pipeline in numbers, about a 1:20 ratio in USAV and 1:9 in high school numbers, I wanted to give extra thanks and awareness for all to the coaches who have helped develop the boys of our Youth National Team - some of these names you will likely see in 2020 and beyond... This report was shared by Heath Hoke who oversees the boy's side of USAV High Performance - Safe travels to all headed to the Youth Worlds, and to our own USA senior teams as they prepare for World Cup and our first chance to qualify for Rio 2016... This evening the final twelve-person O2-bis roster for the BYNT was selected. The depth of talent for this age group is terrific. The task to select the best team was not easy; all of these players would be starters on previous Youth Teams. Ending our twenty-third day together, and having played twelve matches at HPCs, here is the final roster for the 2015 Boys’ Youth National Team: 1. TJ DeFalco 2. Reese Devilbiss 3. Noah Dyer 4. Kyle Ensing 5. Jordan Ewert 6. George Huhmann 7. Micah Ma'a 8. Branden Oberender 9. Scott Stadick 10. Joshua Tuaniga 11. Michael Wexter 12. Joe Worsley Tomorrow we will begin our friendly scrimmage series with the German Boys’ Youth National Team. Germany arrived yesterday without any issue and we look forward to the challenges they will present us through competition. Our time in Iowa has been well spent training twice daily, augmented with video analysis. Although the daily schedule has been rigorous, we have balanced the work with afternoon and evening excursions. Simpson College has been a wonderful host and very accommodating. We have been treated very well and the players have been a model group representing USA Volleyball, their Regions, Clubs and the volleyball community admirably. The eight players leaving, on Aug 8, will be missed as the entire group has bonded and maintained a fun environment off the court . Our coaching staff of Ken Shibuya, Brad Keller and Kris Berzins have been seamless in their training plan thus far and our Technical Coordinator, Kevin Burch, new this year, has been delightfully while grinding the demands of match breakdown, practice analysis, HP Championship statistics and individual video review. We scrimmage Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday evening starting at 7pm CST prior to departing on Monday for Argentina. If possible, I will try to share the scrimmage footage.

I find this funny that good OLD Kessel posts this online after USA Volleyball does a press release yesterday (8/4), which states "...The 12-person travel roster for the World Championship will be announced after the series..." Which would be 8/9. Hahaha. Well played USA Volleyball. Must be an intern.
