Interested to see who people think could legitimately win National Championship this year.

I think it just depends. If Texas can pass even a little bit better (which I think they will), if Stanford's replacement for Inky can step up, if Florida can set/pass consistently, if Foecke can be what we expect her to be (and I truly believe she will), if Washington can spread out the offense evenly (they still have a heck of a team even without Jmac), and if Wisconsin can get their young hitters up to speed, all will have a legit chance. Because honestly it all has to do with your draw to get to the FF. Then I think it's anyone's game. Oh yeah and Penn State;)
So: Florida Nebraska Penn State Texas Stanford Washington Wisconsin

I think Nebraska, Texas, Penn State, and Stanford have the best chances to win it, but teams like Florida, Wisconsin, Washington can improve drastically and win it as well. So it's all about who does well facing adversity.

I think only 11 programs have ever won. Of those Pacific and UW don't have those coaches anymore. I'll cross off UCLA, Long Beach, USC and Hawaii.
Remaining are Stanford Texas Penn St Nebraska
I feel like I am missing one.
And if you want to find a new program (it's been 10 years since that happened so maybe we are due) take the best player in the country... So the Wisconsin fighting Carlini's.

Just about all the teams from last year's Regional finals -- PSU, Wisconsin, Stanford, Florida, Texas, and Nebraska. North Carolina still returns a lot of firepower, BYU not as much.
Maybe a couple of teams that were in the Sweet 16 last year, like Florida State. Not sure Washington has enough without Vansant, and the new coaching change might present its challenges.

Penn State Stanford Texas.
In that order, others could make runs but one of the three will win.

I would say Illinois could have a pretty good shot at winning this upcoming season.
ASU could also surprise. Don't they return their entire line up from last year? They probably won't win it all but could definitely upset some teams in the tournament.

I would say Illinois could have a pretty good shot at winning this upcoming season. I'm trying to remember the last team to win a national title with a true freshman setter . . .

Penn State, right?
Nebraska did it, too, iirc.
I am way too lazy to look this up.
