Wisconsin has the most complete team coming back. Really?[/quote] Wisconsin is good, no doubt. But most complete is probably open to interpretation. PSU and Nebraska are up there also. Stanford might have been, but they lost Inky.

Why? PSU will win it all again. All the usual suspects: PSU, Nebraska, Texas, Stanford, but all missing major pieces. Wisconsin has the most complete team coming back. Would love to see a dark horse upset the apple cart: Illinois, Florida, Florida State, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii? you do know they graduated 3 highly contributory seniors (Thomas, Thompson, Chapman) right?....these three players accounted for well over half of Wisconsin's points last year. And they are replacing these players with either freshmen, unknown foreigners, or Gills ......

Sheffield praised Kristova to the skies when she transferred in last year, although she only played one set. Gillis isn't chopped liver by any means - I wouldn't necessarily judge her too harshly for having suffered playing under Mick (who exposed her, a frosh, while trying to hide Bricio). That leaves Thompson, an undersized MB, to replace, but who was #5 on the team in kills/set. Tori Blake (6'3") should step in - she hit .512, best on the team, but in limited sets. Besides, didn't the NCAA pass a new rule that will allow Carlini to play every position?

Carlini is a god, so if she could play every position simultaneously, then no question Wisky would be unbeatable and would even sweep PSU 3-0 on their home court.

Unknown foreigners? Ok, Mr. Trump. Kriskova is well-known; in fact Sheffield's teams played against her at Dayton and UW. Summary of Wisconsin is it has a lot of raw talent coming in, good leadership returning, and a lot of question marks.
We did have a dark horse last year in BYU upsetting the apple cart by reaching the finals. Does another Big Ten team reaching the final constitute a dark horse? (I suppose it would if it were Iowa or a typically lower placing team). I loved seeing BYU there. Could North Carolina be the next team to reach the final?
I'm not convinced it's anything but PSU's to lose, so at this point I am wondering who they might face.

So now I need to know 10 things? That's too many! I can barely survive the rule changes, and you know, that player with the different colored jersey...

Hey, it could be worse. At least no one posted a link to Deb (Staddick) Kniffin's lousy predictions for the week, lol.

Concur, it will not be crazier than usual. Texas and Fla will easily win their conferences. Ho-hum. Texas once again is the most athletically and physically talented team in all the land....................and we know where it ends much too often................. That may have been true several times in the past few years, but I don't see any team with Neal and Dalton starting being "the most athletically and phyically talented team in all the land." Several other teams are loaded with talent, PSU, Stanford and a few others.

When you want people to remember stuff, it's best to keep it to THREE (3) bullet points. When you get to FOUR (4) and above, people will NOT remember.

PSU wins a lot of games on reputation; to beat them you have to believe you can!!! GO HUSKERS Besides the "oh %*$#" factor that comes with playing them. What has impressed me as the difference between them and the rest of the top of the field, are the crazy ups, and saves they not only run down but turn into kill opportunities.

Liberty, Fraternity and Equality 3 little pigs Veni, vidi, vici. 3 acts in a play. 3 musketeers Stop , look and listen. Stop , drop and roll. It goes on and on. Many studies about how people retain info. 3's and 4' and that is the max 8675......309.
