Honestly, did you think that Minnesota would blow out either OSU or PSU? The Gophers are obviously a good team, but they have a flair for the dramatic and lack an overpowering attack, so things will probably never be too easy for them against good teams, even when they win, which I still think they will tonight. I was hoping. Had more to do with not thinking PSU and OSU were as good as their records. Still not sure. When is Bratford going to have a breakout match? This .111 business is getting old. 23-26. Gentil serving, of course. That's when they go on their runs. PSU timeout.

Gentil appears to be back in, although the radio did not mention it.
Gophers are good in game 5s.
A win would sure be sweet after last night.
.283 for PSU last game. No one over .300 for PSU now, except Sam.

100 Gopher digs, 38 for Gentil. 93 Lion digs, 38 for Walters.
Gophers hit .196 (20-9-56) in game 4. Lions hit .283 (19-4-53) in game 4.

During the break the PSU Band is playing "Pour Some Sugar On Me" by Def Lepard...you can hear the crowd singing the refrain on the audiocast...it's pretty funny!

It looked like Mike had Rhino subbing for Marty in game 4, and Marci subbing for Marty in the other games.
I wonder if he'll switch back for game 5?
3-3 early in game 5.

Yeah, I was wondering about PSU as well before I saw them. Their hitters aren't all that scary as a group, but they have a good setter and a good coach and are one of those "better than the sum of the parts" teams, in my opinion. Shockingly, this one is going five. I didn't see that coming or anything. It is strange to me that Bratford is still struggling; she really came on last year. Any guesses as to the final in game 5? My guess is 18-16, rodents. That "eliminate ground moles" thing must have happened. I don't think even you could have made that one up, and I give you a lot of credit for clever (and occasionally cheesy) wordplays. I am glad that the stupid Louisiana-Lafayette-Florida International football game is almost over on Fox College Sports Pacific. Cal-Stanford is supposed to be on next. I want to see that.

That's what he always does. He always has Peniata in the game 1st (rather than Rhino). So she serves for both Martin and Bratford.
Taatjes has 10 more assists than Bowman. I wonder if they are still running the 6-2.

Currently 5-3 PSU with a big meeting at the scorer's table...lots of confusion from the guy calling the match and we're all 'in the dark'!

(R)!, I meant in the earlier games Marci appeared to be subbing in at the same time as Tree and in game 4 Rhino was subbing in at the same time as Tree.
5-4 Lions.
