It's Wisconsin on a Sunday morning, most of us are still recovering from whatever we did last night which typically includes some sort of fermented drink. Packers also "played" last night (at least there were Packer jerseys on the field, not sure who was wearing them though) so that usually takes a little oomph out of people around here the following day.
And of course K-Rod (another in a long line of bad nicknames using the first letter of the first name and first 3 letters of the last, it is a disturbing trend) pitched so well for the Brewers against Cincy last night so there is also that to get over

There was a lot of vball the last two days! and a lot to digest!
We'll be back (I feel like I should apologize for that somehow).

It's also worth noting that, now the season has started, others have a lot more to talk about, which can only be a good thing. I've been reading other teams' threads. Some interesting stuff.

Not really much to say right now. The Badgers have issues they need to address but a lot of upside. They played a lot better the last four sets of the weekend, which is encouraging.

Everyone knows the Badgers have had two great years. The team lost some good if not great players that were instrumental in those two great seasons. There is an adjustment period for the team and for the fans. As far as I know and have read about, the talent is there to retool. Sheffield is a great coach...he has proven that the last two seasons (and really at Dayton before that).
Considering the success of the last two years it was natural probably to expect too much at the start of this season. I have absolutely no doubts that Wisconsin will continue to get better and be a force in the B10 and nationally as the season progresses.

I actually am not surgically attached to volleytalk, though it might seem like it! I was playing outside for 6 hours.
We have to rest up once a week for the season too!
I would like to add we do stick to one thread for Wisconsin plus the match thread, not like some who create a new thread everytime someone on their team, or an alumnae of said team, sneezes.

gobucky posts: "I would like to add we do stick to one thread for Wisconsin plus the match thread, not like some who create a new thread everytime someone on their team, or an alumnae of said team, sneezes."
Is that barb aimed at a specific poster...or anyone else who posts who is not a Wisconsin fan?

Specific poster of an up and coming program that is located dead center in a state that is between Ohio and New Jersey and located 234 miles due east of NYC

Nope, somebody asked, I responded. Glad to know the map directions were spot on though

As seen in the Wis/Minn thread and Wis 2015 thread, we are still here, was there something specific that needed to be mentioned?
