Nicole and Jenny will have to work to avoid winning this one. Day/Kessey out, Kendra and Kim in the loser's. I like watching Geena play a lot. If she were just a little stronger on offense she could be something

If she were just a little stronger on offense she could be something I'm not so sure that her and Jenny can work too much harder it it then they are doing. I used to really enjoy watching the women play only a few years ago.......not now. It's very diluted for some reason and I'm not too sure why. Hopefully in the near future with all of the NCAA activity that may change.

Crabbs outclassed by Jake/Casey. Showed some promise, but also how far they have to go. Trevor hit some balls in Game 2 that make you wonder why he doesnt do that all the time. I think he needs to be much more aggressive. No excuse for a guy like that to get served as often as he does

Larson/Flint look like the future of women's beach. Women's side is influx and it was not a stacked tournament so I get that but their improvement over the course of the season has been pretty remarkable. A big block at 6 foot 2 - Larson moves really well in the sand and showed that she can shoot the ball around as well. Metter Flint looks like the real deal. She is 5 foot 10 - has a wicked float serve and easily was the best on the court in the final. Both super young. 2020 Olympic run will be interesting on the women's side. I am curious as to what the group thinks Larson/Flint are as it relates to where Claes/Hughes are at this point?

I'm always happy when new blood wins at tournament, however that final was not the highest of quality IMO.

The stands looked pretty empty on TV for the finals. Smaller turn-out than usual?

Beach volleyball irony. The event is free and worst attendance vs paid events at same venue? Economists caution that giving something away causes waste/poor distribution. Maybe free should be reconsidered? No price equals no value in consumers head? Back to business model discussion. Hope promoters got enough sponsor cash to break even. Hate to lose them and a tour stop !

Hate to lose them and a tour stop ! I wouldn't doubt at least a part of this being tied to the lack of Kerri/Misty at the event. They have always been a huge draw at that event. The women's side was completely depleted of top talent.
