I think they are contenders. Exactly, I don't think that horse is so dark. Appaloosa at darkest. I've been bullish on Illinois since last spring.

Texas should be #2. No way Southern Cal should be ranked ahead of Florida. So your saying Stanford should be ranked behind Texas? With what logic? Stanford was top team before inky went down and may possibly still be. We will see this weekend. What argument do u have for Texas being ranked ahead of Stanford. I see none. I think the top two are the only ones that are closest to being right. USC is not ranked ahead of Florida. Are you looking at the right poll?

Texas should be #2. No way Southern Cal should be ranked ahead of Florida. By what logic should Texas be ranked ahead of Stanford? Stanford was prob best team before inky went down and may still be even with that and psu is still psu although we will get a better idea this weekend when they play eachother where each is at. Those are the only two in poll I think are closest to being correct. I'm psu fan and for my team but right now I think Stanford may be 1 until psu figures out and gets set on and comfortable with lineup they are gonna use which I believe will be later in season. Beyond that why so high on Florida? I know they are good team but they did nothing this last weekend that was all that impressive like a lot of teams including psu. I can make case by last weeks play alone other teams that should be ahead of Florida based in that. It's to early to really tell anything yet except maybe that carlini not poulter is the true Jesus. Lol

Man all these poulter homers comming in a messing up that natural flow of thing which is carlini. Always like to give badgers fans bad time just to stir board but sometimes u just get use to something and don't like the flow being disrupted. Lol
poulter may be good but it's hard to get that high on one weeknd of college play. Do it consistantly and then we can start talking. She will get chance and starting to establish herself against a elite program in Stanford this weekend. Let's see how she does.

Appaloosa at darkest. I've been bullish on Illinois since last spring. Illinois with a little luck in the NCAA seedings could be a BYU this season. If they are as good as their fans think, seeding and luck won't matter. They are IMO very strong FF candidate, and I don't believe there is a team out there that is out of reach for the other top 8 teams. Stanford possibly, but Inky made them more vulnerable. I think it will be a great season of parity.

Illinois with a little luck in the NCAA seedings could be a BYU this season. the seeding makes little difference, it's the draw silly. it's where everyone ELSE is seeded you should be worried about. Wisconsin got a top 4 seed last year (despite pretty much all primary seeding criteria comparison to FSU), I'm sure if you ask Schef, given the draw, that they much rather would have been the 6th seed, based on the draw.

I interpret what bigfan wrote differently because the plural form "seedings" includes the seeding of Illinois and the seeding of all the other teams. Thus, it is informally equivalent to using the word draw (formally it doesn't include unseeded teams, which are part of the draw, but I think of tournament seedings as including situations where strong teams are not seeded).

BYU's 2014 Tourney: Seton Hall #11 Arizona #6 Florida State #14 Nebraska #3 Texas #5 Penn State Did you feel like they got lucky with their seeding? Edit: 2014 Tourney, oops.

No, this is a tough draw. especially given that #14 Nebraska SHOULD have been @ #3 Washington. It's also worth pointing out that BYU was NOT seeded.

Also, I feel like, except for perhaps the PSU-Wisconsin error, the draw last year was VERY fair.
