Oregon looks lackadaisical. 4-0 Florida. I watched Venus Williams come back from 4-1 down in the second set of the US Open today anythings possible.

Florida takes Set 1, 25-18. Gators won serve and pass by a mile. Oregon couldn't get in any rhythm. I'd like to see Vander Weide in Set 2. IMO it was a mistake to pull her 4 points in before she even got to the front.

I usually agree with Moore's decisions but I have no idea why LVW is still on the bench.

We're just not able to get her the ball enough. Florida is in system and spreading the ball around. 13-9 Florida in Set 2.

25-19. Florida is just always in system. FBSO pretty much every ball, and Oregon just can't keep up siding out. Shelby is hitting .062; LVW earned the starting spot and IMO we need her in there to compete at this level.

Really impressed with Florida. They're very physically talented. Ducks are serving lollipops.

Yes Florida is physical but they've been making every contact count. Ball control, pursuit, they are just playing a pretty smooth game. I was impressed with them when they came to Galen as well.
At the end of set 1 I thought Oregon was going to pick it up a little bit but they just aren't putting any pressure on Florida from the service line.

Oregon is a good team but probably another year of being in the range of 10-16 as far as best in the country goes. As for Florida this is more of what I was hoping to see. Any team with players like Holston and Alhassan can go far.
