In a match that will have GREAT implications for Olympic qualifying has started!
Russia is being BLOCKED off the court! China up 10-3 I think! Just blocked 4 balls in a row (including Kosheleva twice)

14-5 CHN
Startseva and Malykh have come in.
China's middle, Yang Ni (?), is scary good.

Malykh with the facial, then Startseva quickly back sets her! LOL
Russian doing a bit better now! Kosheleva with the World's most beautiful volleyball attack.
15-11 CHN

To those that are still hoping USA can qualify, things are going well so far. China is in control of Russia and thats the first part of help the US is going to get. Now the hard part is hoping that Japan can beat this China team..

I dont understand all the technical aspects, but from what I understand, If china qualifies, it makes Japans road to the olympics 100 times easier?

It would be a surprise to see them win anyways, but I'm not sure they'll just roll over. But it wouldn't be hard to disguise playing tough and losing to China. Especially the way China is playing now.

After all, we lost to Japan in the last WC...

I'm not sure if China could. They are unstable, playing great one moment and terrible the next. Whoever can play more consistently will win.
