Wow Missouri didn't crack the top 25; I thought sure they would after beating Florida! AVCA has them at 26 according to points! GO HUSKERS

From the standpoint of how the AVCA poll "works," it all essentially makes sense. People may disagree, but no one can really be surprised by this poll. I thought Illinois might drop a little more, but losing on the road to MN/WI aren't really bad losses. Also thought Stanford might be just slightly lower. But again, nothing here really sticks out as aberrant given how the AVCA poll usually goes.
Congrats to Arkansas being ranked!! Wins vs. FLA and WI with only losses to good teams (Kansas and Creighton).

I think Minnesota may be the best #11 team in a very long time.

Nice ASU gets 2 first place votes. You should be very happy, ASU is legit. Good luck against the PNW teams this week!

In my top 17 predictions, I was only spot on with 3 teams, but was not off by more than 2 spots for any team. Thus, can't complain; poll makes sense to me.

How Stanford is still in the top 10 makes no sense to me....

The 4-6 spots are all really close in votes. They are interchangeable at this point.

Where is that PSU poster who started a crusade again that coach who has stanford 1 after getting beat by psu?
I wonder if he or she will have as much enthusiasm for the coaches still voting PSU #1 after losing at home to Nebraska and barely beating Minny at home last week.
Let's test that homerism.

Figured Nebraska would stay neutral. Happy Washington didn't drop far (loss to a #1 is never a bad loss), but that was a fun match to watch on PAC12 yesterday. Look at Ohio State top 10 (they'll be able to justify it this weekend at Illinois).

Ohio State is definately a huge home team...They have some really good wins at home...we will see how they do on some tough road trips
