UW is controlling the Chairman this set for the most part ... always triple block her when she bombs from the back row

21-17. TO AZ. I hope this doesn't lead to another 4 straight AZ points. So far has led to 2 straight UW points.

Scambray finally looking a little more like the threat she was last year.

I wonder if snuka can pass? If she can pass and play defense like this at the next level...sign her up to be USAs libero. I've heard people say that before. I'm starting to get sold on the idea.

Maybe it was a good thing that Cook saved that time out for now.

Cook has a lot of work to do. This kind of play is going to lead to a very long Pac-12 season

I see Jones still isn't doing anything for us offensively. We should do a running bet of when she'll lead the team in kills... heck I'd even settle for a .300+ match, which isn't that rare for an OPP on a top 10 team.

UW telegraphing all their sets. Was there a single back-set in the first two sets?

UW tried to give that one away

Long rally but Scambray finally finishes it from the RS. Interestingly Cook had DeHoog in after the TO. Arizona tipped to her zone, but she was able to dig it up.
25-22, match tied 1-1

I think there were several points in both sets where JMac would have been quicker to call timeouts and would have yanked a player or two.
Maybe it's not fair to compare anyone to McLaughlin...but here's hoping K-Cook can solve some of these issues. It's especially troubling how UW has absolutely tanked in sets 1 at WSU, at USC and now with UA.

The S's (Sybeldon, Scambray, and Strickland) saving our bacon right now. We did cut down on the errors and cranked up the serve.
