San Diego takes set 1 25-19. Both teams obviously scouted the opponent's big gun hitter well and are making them uncomfortable. Kramer has 4 kills, 5 errors hitting -.071. Elman got her first kill when San Diego was up 24-17. Has 1 kill, 2 errors, hitting -.083.
San Diego hit .143 in the first set and Pacific hit -.027.

I could have sworn I picked San Diego. That's the WCC for you. It doesn't matter. There's no way to know ...

I hate the WCC!!!!!! I wish they were not in PTW. Don't be a hater. Just watch some of their matches and you can guess better! :/ Not a hater at all, conference is very good and competitive. Problem is not a lot between #2 and #5 and anyone can beat anyone even home/away. Makes it painful to pick.

Ha. Well, it must be getting easier because all 5 matches yesterday and today were sweeps by the favored team... although I was very surprised by Gonzaga's easy sweep of Pepperdine, and that San Diego was able to pull off a sweep of Pacific, even though I thought they would win in 4 or 5 LMU is a crap shoot every match.

Hmm another loss at home, Pacific is definitely on the bubble again, Will the NCAA committee be mad about their AD's comments last year?
