. It amazes me when a team like Florida loses to Texas and the pollsters still rank Florida ahead of undefeated Texas. But if a New Mexico State or Western Kentucky teams loses a match to a so-called lower team, they shouldn't be even considered for the tournament. Hypocritcial, if you ask me. And if you don't ask me , still hypocritical! Florida was ranked 5th in the Country, Texas 18th before the two teams faced off. There is a difference between the best teams in the country and teams like WKU, NMSU and the teams they beat. Also, the poll and the tournament are 2 different things entirely. The AVCA coaches do not vote anybody into the tournament. You can't draw an even comparsion.

Why not explain it. Enlighten us. We've heard your arguments before, they have little substance.

That is your opinion. Sorry, I've got to go - students are calling. "That's your opinion." Equivalent to "nuh-uh!" Just because it's "our" opinion it's not right? Because our opinions differ, it's wrong that we have an opinion? I don't think so. As far as comparing undefeated Texas and Florida to Western Kentucky, about the ONLY concurrent comparisons that you can draw that I'll support is that they are in the south and they are leading their respective conferences. After that, any comparison gets iffy. I hope that Western Kentucky wins their conference tournament, I'm sure most of us here at VolleyTalk are behind you on that one, but if they don't, the simple fact of the matter is, they did not win the right matches or schedule tough enough to prove that they are worthy of the NCAA tournament!! Not even remotely. Just because you schedule tough isn't the answer even... you actually have to BEAT some of those tough teams... not just one-game against a gelling Stanford, either. I would focus on doing what it takes to win the Sun Belt tournament! It's a bad loss to lose Blotch, I hope she is back and FULLY healthy before the season is over!

And because it is my opinion, that doesn't make it wrong either. I have enjoyed "stirring up the pot". I get a lot of chuckles and grief from doiing so. Everyone have a good weekend. "See you" on Monday!
